In search of the Holy Kale

Kitchen HQ is a weekly dinner-planning system I built inside a Claude Project. Each week it suggests around fifteen dinners shaped to our actual kitchen — the appliances we own, the vegetables and spice levels we like, the cuisines we lean toward — and I pick three or four. From there it writes the week's plan, builds the shopping list, and keeps that list in sync, both directions, with our Apple Reminders: it adds what the chosen recipes need, and it sees whatever we tossed on the list ourselves during the week.

Notion holds everything — recipes, pantry, the weekly plan, the shopping list — as the single source of truth; Claude is the operator that reads and writes it. It can also invent dinners from what's already in the pantry, which is how I ended up transcribing every jar and bag in the kitchen one slightly ridiculous afternoon.
